Amity was founded by Elaine Gahan who is a qualified Social Worker, Play Therapist and Psychotherapist and has been working with children, adolescents and families experiencing a range of difficulties for over a decade.
Elaine has also worked with adults in addressing difficulties that they are experiencing including providing parenting support and advice.
Amity is based in the Arts and Business Campus Drumcondra, a friendly, warm and inviting setting in which children and adolescents can feel at ease to enable them to establish a trusting relationship where they can be supported to overcome the difficulties that they are experiencing.
