Everybody experiences difficulties at some point in their lives and at times may need a little extra support to overcome these difficulties. For the most part, adults use words to make sense of and overcome the difficulties that that they are experiencing, but for children and adolescents this may not always be the most suitable approach.
They may not have the emotional language or are not able to understand their feelings and therefore may appear to be sad, angry, disruptive, rebellious, or unable to cope. Play Therapy or Adolescent Counselling can be beneficial in helping children and adolescents who need extra support to overcome difficulties.
